Introduction
Motor Control Lab is in the division of cognitive psychology in the School of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences at Peking University. It studies human sensorimotor control via psychophysics, motor behavioral experiments, virtual reality, biomechanics, computational modeling, and neuroimaging.
Current research is categorized into basic and applied studies, with the former probing the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying motor control, multimodal integration, and motor learning and the latter investigating motor rehabilitation and human-machine interaction. Motor control is still understudied in China, partly owing to its interdisciplinary nature. Internationally, the research parties scatter in the institutions of neuroscience, psychology, kinesiology, bioengineering, rehabilitation science, and physical therapy.
We currently have post-doctorate openings available, and we welcome Ph.D. graduates with strong motivations and relevant research backgrounds to join us. We will offer competitive salaries and welfare.
