Dr. Yonglu Tian is a research assistant professor at the School of Psychological and Cognitive Sciences and he is also a Co-PI of the IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research at Peking University (Prof. Xiang Yu’s lab). He received his bachelor’s degree from College of Animal Science and Technology, Hebei Agricultural University in 2008. Then he got his master’s degree from College of Animal Science and Technology, China Agricultural University in 2012. And then he got his Ph.D. from Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies, Peking University in 2019. He was a practicing veterinary at Laboratory Animal Research Center, Peking University between 2008 and 2018. He then joined School of Life Sciences at Peking University as a postdoc fellow and finished his research training between 2019 and 2022. His research interests focus on the neural circuit changes underlying the diseased brain, especially autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) and Alzheimer's disease (AD).
